NFU is an independent legal entity since December 11, 2019.
About
Over the past year NFU managed to unite the efforts of related industry unions, directly or indirectly dependent on the stability of the feed industry, production and commercial companies related to the turnover of feed additives and production of premixes to defend common interests.
The members of NFU are Russian companies that import at least 70% of feed additives from the number of all industry operators-importers by money and metric calculation.

Participation in the creation of a system of industry monitoring of product quality and safety together with government agencies and public organizations.
EEU Markets
Promotion of industry products in the EEU markets and abroad, dissemination of knowledge and positive experience in this area among consumers of products.
PLANS
In recent years the Russian Federation has been actively developing animal husbandry and together with it feed production. Last year, the National Feed Union did a lot to develop its feed business. In the course of this reorganisation we have become much stronger and see new horizons and challenges for the near future.
COMMON SPACE
In the nearest future, NFU as a separate organization plans to form a single industry information space in the Eurasian Economic Union.

INSTITUTIONALISING
The NFU will take an active part in the institutionalization of the fodder industry and harmonization of legal relations both between the market participants of the Eurasian Economic Union and with the supervisory authorities.

ASSOCIATION OF THE EEU
According to the results of the consultations already held, the Russian industry unions (Russian Grain Union, Union of Fodder Processors), related to the technological principle, will join the EEU Association of Fodder Safety. Also members of the local fodder market will be involved as partners (co-founders) from each of the EEU member countries.
