About the Union
The National Food Union (hereinafter – NFU) was established in Russia in September 2013 on the basis of cooperation between leading producers of premixes and feed additives in response to new initiatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Customs Union on the regulation of the fodder market. The main objectives of the NFU are the progressive development of the feed production industry and public control over the formation of a healthy competitive environment for bona fide companies both within the region and within the Customs Union.
The NFU is an independent legal entity.
Sergey Mikhnyuk was re-elected as Executive Director by decision of the founders at the November 2019 meeting of the National Feed Union (NFU).
This decision of the leading operators of the fodder market was made on the basis of the results of the work of the Union for three years and is associated with a change of concept of development of the NLC for the next three years, involving the transition from the concept of representation and information functions to the strategy of forming the main communication platform in the fodder sector of Russia and the EEU.
Dmitry Grachev (General Director of Adisseo CIS) was re-elected as the Chairman of the NFU Board.
Dmitry Grachev: “Communications with governmental authorities and the Russian government are still in the spotlight of the NFU, but lobbying the interests of the industry inside Russia, communications with international organizations (FEFANA, FEFAC etc.) and profile committees of the EEU become a priority area and the subject of effective cooperation with related trade unions”.

Education:
Graduated from the Cybernetics Department of MIREA (1993), Higher School of Economics in Economics and Finance (1998), Master’s Degree in Mediation in the Social Sphere (2016), Postgraduate course at RTU MIREA (2018 г.).
Activities:
He has many years of diversified experience including experience in operational management, as well as experience in corporate governance as a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Audit Commission of state-owned companies (2013 – present).
